"Let me start this by saying I have worked for or with Aveda in some shape or form since 1991. I have loved everything about the company, I have owned a concept salon for 17 years, before that I was a color educator for Aveda. I always said I would never change color lines unless the Lightner could outperform Aveda’s Enlightener.
When I heard about Color Space I dismissed it for a while, I kept hearing about it so I purchased a Lightener Kit. I was shocked I achieved the most beautiful clean blondes. It out performed my current Lightner while using half the product. So, I ordered a few pieces of the color line to try and the results were amazing. I ordered a larger kit and my staff started asking if they could use the Lightner. Then that was all they were using. I really had to hold them back a bit because I wasn’t sure I was ready. As I started approaching clients asking them if I could try the new line on them. The colors I achieved were stunning, the reds were vibrant, the levels were true neutrals. The color is shiny, it isn't fading or softening between color services. It is all they promised. The condition, shine, and best of all I tried it on my most skin sensitive clients and no problems. Once the staff started seeing the results, there was no turning back. We love this line.
My guest when I approached them, I simply asked if I could try a new line, depending on the guest it depended on my reasoning. My sensitive client wanted to see if it made a difference… It did. My intense reds, I wanted to see if I could get more…. I did. My Blondes I wanted to see if I could get a cleaner lift…. I did… My level 5,6,7 I wanted a true neutral…. It did it. With the team I said I was just testing this line, once they saw the results they asked if they could use it.
For a salon owner the bottom line is very important. When it comes down to it you will save. It will make a difference.
